I started playing in 2000 and haven't stopped since. Twenty-six years at the instrument, more than fifteen of them working professionally — on stages, in musical productions and in recording studios, alongside musicians at every level.
My playing is shaped by gospel, jazz, R&B, funk, worship and Latin music. I'm self-taught: my training has been personal study, constant practice, and the kind of learning that only happens in a room with other musicians when something has to work tonight.
What I bring is the combination — musician, producer and creator. I understand an instrument from performance, from sound design, from production, and from the real demands of a professional stage. Those are four different points of view on the same thing, and having all four changes the decisions you make.
